but I'm sure most of the rest of you are turning green right now because you all had to go to work and school this morning (SUCKS FOR YOU.) so here are my current loves:
as some of you probably know, I am a huge fan of Julia Trotti's work. I mean, she's only 18 and she's already an amazing photographer with photos on the cover of books and such. plus, she's Australian, and everyone knows Australians are just plain awesome.

LOVE.
souce unknown. I found it here |
these Martha Stewart hanging leaves. I definitely wanna make some!
Jeremy Larson!
pretty indie chilled out mellowness (perfect for this week!) and the best news? you can download Salvation Club (for now anyway) for free! (but if you have the money and love his tunes you should definitely buy it from Red Velvet Art because, the dude's an artist who needs our support. I know, I know, I didn't buy it but I'm kind of broke. maybe when I have the money I'll go back and buy it and/or his self-titled album)
Attic Sound Productions!
and their awesometastic rock remix of Lady Gaga's Alejandro (wow, somehow I ended up with Lady GooGoo in here two weeks in a row. . .hmmmmmm)
featuring Kattomatic (Katt Nelson)
The Main Attraction!
yep, lead singer is Katt Nelson again. These guys a great. They sort of remind me of old Paramore in a way (and not just because they're a punky-popish guy band with a chick singer) but just something about the mood but that doesn't quite describe them. But if you like Paramore you should definitely check them out! plus, they're Australian.
I TOLD YOU AUSTRALIAN PEOPLE WERE AWESOME.
(acoustic version of Memento, a TMA song. but you should check out her other stuff too. she does awesome covers, with a ukelele)
Memento is my favorite song right now. Check out their myspace for more music and facebook.
also, this week's quotage from Memento: "when the clock strikes 'now' I'll call the shots. these are the years that will change me to who I am and who I'll be. you can't teach what I've learned, the lessons find you, sneak behind you. you won't go down in history but you can leave with a memory, so let go of expectations and just let go. my last steps with a memento that I was left from a second home. it's been three years so you probably forgot but I'm still here if you wanna talk. can't stop now, I've come this far, it's been so long, but it's only the start. it's only the start." - The Main Attraction

Chelsea's Sunday Mixtape:
Chelsea (Seablanket) makes these awesometastic Sunday playlists every week. I especially loved this one from last Sunday.
Also, Instead I Fight's new songs/intros are awesome.
I have the advantage (disadvantage?) of hearing everything first (sometimes even before the band hears it, teehee) and Alex wrote a couple of new songs with epictastic intros that I can't wait for y'all to hear. They have a myspace and facebook and plenty of crappy garageband recordings but they (alex) is stupid and never posts any thing. and unfortunately you probably won't get to hear any of these songs until they play it at a show and since they're in the second and third sets there's no telling how long that will take. so sorry! go spam their myspace and facebook and tell them post something!
well, that's pretty much all. I'm off to eat some pop tarts and enjoy the view :) Happy Monday!
